R\u00e1pidamente, <strong>Camilo<\/strong> corrigi\u00f3 el traspi\u00e9 con tres \u2018birdies\u2019 m\u00e1s al <strong>3<\/strong>,<strong> 4<\/strong> y <strong>6<\/strong>, aunque al <strong>7<\/strong> cosech\u00f3 otro \u2018bogey\u2019 que lo dej\u00f3 en el total de<strong> 66 golpes<\/strong> (-6) junto al primer lugar compartido con los estadounidenses <strong>Lucas Glover<\/strong> y <strong>J.J. Spaun<\/strong>.<br><br>Durante algunos hoyos, <strong>Villegas<\/strong> fue l\u00edder solitario en la primera ronda del certamen y aunque termin\u00f3 igualando con otros dos golfistas, su nombre aparece en los registros del <strong>PGA Tour<\/strong> como el primer jugador latinoamericano en liderar una ronda en <strong>The Players<\/strong>, destacando que ya brill\u00f3 en dicho escenario cuando en <strong>2006<\/strong> finaliz\u00f3 en el <strong>tercer lugar<\/strong>.<br><br>Por su parte, <strong>Nicol\u00e1s Echavarr\u00eda <\/strong>cerr\u00f3 la primera ronda compartiendo el puesto 31 de la general con un total de <strong>70 golpes<\/strong>, dos bajo par (-2).
